It seems difficult to believe we are well into the fall period, and Thanksgiving is coming closer by the moment. Before we can turn around, it will be time for hanging outdoor lights and decorating not only the outside of our houses but the interiors.

One of our own MNW residents has volunteered to put together a New Year's Eve party at the Community Center. The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. There will be a DJ providing music throughout the evening. Dinner, soft drinks, dessert, and a champagne toast will be included...

President's Message
Fall is here although anyone not familiar with South Texas would still swear it is still summer. Despite these quite warm days in September, we were very fortunate in that Houston never recorded a 100-degree day this past summer. Having been an MNW resident for over 30 years, this is the first time I can remember that phenomena occurring during the summer. The effects were—and still are—noticeable throughout the subdivision as we are considerably “greener” than usual at this time of year.
